Monstrous.com has been on the web for more than 15 years and has quickly established itself as the first web site about monsters. We now form a strong community of members scattered around the world and united in the same desire to recover our past knowledge and alter the cursed course of history.
You are invited to register with our forum, for more convenience we allow members to log in with their facebook account.
For those who feel they are on monstrous side, please help us build and improve our house.
Our needs include editors and writers (monstropedians), searchers (humanities, art, philosophy), field reporters, html editors, programmers, artists, and graphic design professionals. We offer very few paid positions for the moment but rather the prestigious recognition of being part of the Monstrous team. If you are motivated, please show us samples (no mail attachment please!) of your writings, artwork, or graphic designs by posting in the Monstrous Forum or the Monstrous Members Gallery.
Perspectives are sought from those engaged in the fields of literature, media studies, cultural studies, history, anthropology, philosophy, psychology, sociology, health and theology. Ideas are welcomed from those involved in academic study, fictional explorations, and applied areas (e.g. youth work, criminology and medicine).
Papers, reports, work-in-progress and workshops are invited on issues related to any of the following themes.
For those who have not time to contribute to the building of the repository, your financial help is required to help us save as many monsters as possible from sinking into oblivion.
