What if the shadow intimidates you??

Alright, I'm not crazy to start things off. I was inhibited by certain substances but have never hallucinated before so thats why I think it was real. To this day I'm still petrified. I had all of my lights off with only the tv on. So there's very sparce light. It happened in the wee hours of the morning. I saw red eyes (something about red eyes was mentioned in the first post on this topic by Shadow) The figure was hazy with no real form. The red eyes were about 6 feet off the ground. Other than seeing this shi#, the formidable size of the thing is what freaked me out mostly. I watched the thing, without a sound very fearfully. It moved quickly to the end of the couch in which I was laying. I covered my head with my blanket like a little kid. When I got the balls to take a peak I no longer saw it. I turned on my lamp and went to sleep. I had eneasy nightmares that night. Since then I hate being alone in my apartment.When I am I keep the lights on. I've tried to tell myself that it was only the substances I had dabbled in but I feel if I allowed myself to I would see it again. Freaky stuff happens sometimes and I blame it on this reason or that. There is a presence though and It wants me to be open to it. Advice?

I am not sure if I see these shadows...I think I may well do...I see shadowy figures move quickly out of the corner of my eye, on the floor, behind glass doors, on the stairs etc.
I don't often, but at times...
I also sometimes hear my name called and strange noises..
At times, maybe 5-6 times in my whole life I have seen like a massive black shadow go past a window in my house, and I mean very quickly, so you don't notice much of a difference...just like a dimmer light down and up..
And once recently I was standing talking to someone and my vision went completely black, pitch black for only a few seconds...it was odd...it just went completely quiet and my vision was pitch black...I was still standing though...

Theres more but not as much related with "Shadows"..

Could any of these be related with these shadows?

Ok well as I say that may have been me having a blackout..I don't know much lol.
And there wasn't a dimming of lights, just the shadow past the window was like those lights you can dim...

What about the rest?
Anything that could be "shadows"?

Another thing, could this maybe show that "shadows" wouldn't be loitering around me, as I have 12 letters by putting my first and surname together...so does that mean "shadows" can't get me?

Firstly, the more detail you give, the better, but I'll at least give an opinion from what you've already said:

From what I've read about shadows here (though I am certainly no expert) I have strong doubts you are a shadow in human form, or you would know it as you would still be a shadow.  This should be especially apparent if the wards against shadows don't work against you.  I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure there aren't true  humans that are also shadows, even if there are shadows that look like humans.

However, that doesn't mean you might not posess traits of a shadow, whether it is to sneak easily through the shadows or to incite fear in people.  Such things are not as uncommon as you'd think, though some might be better than others.

Overall, I would say to check out the Blood Track for information on vampires, as being one is almost impossible to effectively diagnose online, and look into this section as well.  That will help to explain the detais of what those things are and what it would mean to be one.  Best of luck in your searching.
