It doesn't matter if youy ever met them, just if it happened.
I have once along time ago I feel in love with a girl online, but she lived in Florida and I lived here, she had money to come over but was to insecure and I couldn't go to her. We had the most strongest connection. Nothing ever came of it. She got married to some guy.
I would say she loved me too. And just as strongly, but people are people after all.
Her Username was MidnightSorrow, as far as I know she doesn't come online anymore, I dont even know how she is. Even years later and married I miss her sometimes, but isn't that always the way? I still love all my ex's each had that one special quality that you can never get back, that made them themselves. Still I wouldn't leave my wife for anyone of them.

No, if I'm gonna find love I'm going to do it in reality, now some machine where people can lie about everything about themselves and it turns out you fell in love with a fat, hairy, 55 year old man that still lives with his mom and all he does is sit in front of a STUPID SCREEN ALL HIS LIFE!

No, for 2 reasons..
1: Chances are that even if you do you will never meet them.

I did have a crush on a guy online... I did not know what he looked like. He does not know my feelings about him but anyway... I guess I had a crush on him because I really like the way he was thinking, he was pretty wise, pretty deep and so funny! Even if I know that he'll get married soon and that we will never meet (he lives in Ireland), I can't control my warm feelings about him...  rolleyes

But as for online dating services... no thanks! I prefer making friends online instead. You know, participate in forums. (Like my Irish guy, we participate in a forum.)

1. depends on the people...my husband and i have been working out plans to go visit some people near by.

2. probably, and why you should exchange pictures and get them on a web cam as soon as possible.

Well I wasn't refering to online dating. I meant unintentionally, naturally.
In my situation I met her on a froum and we started talking across msn.
We dont have dating in NZ but due to the Americian influence of TV like halloween people are trying to incorparate it into our culture. Currently its failing, I hope it continues to do so.


BTW You guys are paranoid, not everyone on the Net is going to be a kddie f'ker and your insane if you think you can control attraction.
I liked Zak and Dynny's responses the best.
