People hear that I am a horror writer and they think that I must be a monster, but actually I have the heart of a small child - I keep it in a jar on my desk. - Robert Bloch

Life is a joke; Death is the punchline.

Ok, DV said this might be a good thread to start so I'll get us going. Who has experienced interference from the paranormal while trying to help others; on this site or elsewhere, converting from a pagan to a Christian religion, or any other time. By all means share your stories.

When I first began to break from the dark arts, not only was I tormented with horrific dreams (nothing new for me, just the frequency was), I had three cars die in two months, my Dad's health took the final turn to where he could no longer work, I was having major problems at work, my Mother was trying to use me to pay her bills for her, and when I refused; she kicked me out. With nowhere nearby to go, I had to move back to a previous residence three states away, this took place the day before 9/11. Once there the best job I could find was working in a restaurants for less than half of what I was making before with no health benefits whatsoever. Things got worse for a while before they started getting better. This all took two years to play out though.

that's the odd thing, i've experienced nothing and still am not, not even any bad dreams...

quite the contrary...recently i was hired on at a movie store as a manager in training, paid two dollas an hour more than other people employed there and my father in law is selling his trucks, keeping the one in our name, until he can trasfer it into his releasing about eighty thousand dollars of credit, while working for a loan company and getting us a loan to purchase a house taking only five percent rather than the usual ten, to get us a good rate on an adequate amount...and the frosting on the cake?

I found the most perfect group of like minded christians..they have service in a book/coffee shop, with excellent coffee on couches, most of it's singing and praising the Lord, a sandwich lunch afterwards,  they have all night prayer parties on wednesdays, dinner and bible study on sundays and frequent family outings in the park, including the occasional hike to lodgepole and pray over the entire city!

Gd is good..Wink

even my husband will walk in from a good bout of finding what he needed proclaiming "I love Gd..."

He's always been good to me, it just took me several decades and meeting some amazing people to realize it.  Smiley

..."Neither is the "antichrist" some demon possessed super-intelligent human clone. Rather, the "antichrist" is that sweet elderly lady living next door who openly teaches the neighborhood kids that Jesus just was a myth."
