hey  i was just wondering if somebody could explain this, or maybe somebody has experineced something like this or knows somebody who has. like in the title when i get angry and/or am in a fight i seem to have a.... battle instinct is the best way to describe it. i have a background in martial arts but never reached black belt or anything. maybe im just naturally talented but it's like i switch from normal mode to battle mode, i just know what to do in a fight i can tell what their going to do sometimes and just all of my natural abilitties and senses are enhanced. thank you in advance for any help.

I get it too. Some of us are just naturally better at certain things. When it came to martial arts I could master just about anything with ease and never have to practice it again to be able to use it. I think it's partly neurological/partly physiological.

Someone told me a I was a knight in a previous life, and several others confirmed that and added that I became a king (good knight to evil king, go figger). Persoanally I don't belive in reincarnation.

It has nothing to do with past lives rolleyes

Everyone knows that it is the Talent Fairy that imbues us with "special powers".  I for one have the ability to walk through walls.  I just concentrate very hard, reach out with my left hand, grasp the knob, twist slightly and pull.  Then I take a few hair raising steps and presto! I'm on the other side.  There is normally a slight breeze when this occurs, *looks around nervously and whispers*  I think it is a spirit guide leading me!

In all seriousness, Moloch said  it right when he said that some people are just good at certain things.  I have knack for football and have a sharp tounge.   Devious Viper has a knack for growing nose hair and luminar, you have a knack for fighting.

My older brother is very good as well.  I think it came out of necessity.  Our neighborhood, while not a ghetto, was no prize either and he had to defend the rest of us from the neighborhood Nimrods.  I've seen him take on and win against two guys (he was 16 and they were the same) and have picked him up from the police after an altercation he won against 4 individuals (he was 26 and he thinks they were late teens).

His style isn't so good that he beats up all the people, what he does is grab one and pounds the dog snot out of them until there is no fight left and grabs another.  After the first guy was beat the other three, according to the story grabbed him (the fallen comrad) and left.  My brother came out very sore the next day, with a knot on his head, broken glasses, and some bloody clothing (not his blood).

I describe it as snapping if you will.  He is fine and then pow he's swinging, no boxing no kung fu, he punches you in the face and then jumps on top tenderizing your skull until you give up or go limp.  To top it off he is legally blind and getting worse.  As a teen he could see except at night, now...its not so good.

If you have the gift, I suggest you use it for the Lord.  no matter what (unless it is a sin, like glibbness *glares at passing salesmen*

i kind of agree, i was more leaning towards a scientific explanation. i beleive everything has a logical scientific explantion.

Mine is now at the point where I don't even have to fight anymore, except of course for drunks and idiots who just don't know enough to stay out of the way of a speeding train. Most times seeing me stand my ground against 3 or 4 or even more individuals and not even bat an eye is enough to show people that I have no fear, and they stay back too. For those that don't, spending a month or two recuperating does wonders.

No, but taking a hit from me is pretty close to the same thing.  Although pushing people in front of trains is more permanent.....there's the matter of timing, not to mention all the explaining afterwards. A simple one punch fight is ever so much easier to explain to the cops.

How did they confirm it?? You can't just say; "You were a king/knight in a past life. No questions to ask, we're 100% sure." most people who go through reincarnation go through a load of studying, then take like test and things to figure these things out.

Like I said; "Someone told me....". No offense to anyone here; but I don't subscribe to the idea of reincarnation. This is why I never claimed ownership of this idea, I only said that others confirmed it, ten years after the fact I'll add. Personally, the idea of reincarnation is sort of scary. I like to think you only have one chance to trully screw up your eternity.

How can you confirm that your previous corpse was anything? The confirmation is as all things in this realm are: etheral and subject to interpretation. I think perhaps I used the wrong word here. By confirm I mean only that these people; without any hinting or tampering on my part, also said the same and even added to it. As for myself and what I believe, see above.

I know exactly what your talkin about...
I have got into a few fight in my life, and I have only lost 1..
I think it happend first when I was 9, I was in a fight with this other kid right up the road from my house, he was winning.
But then when I closed my eyes, it was like a movie was playing in my head almost, showing me what he was going to try to do next... i remember seein him about to kick me in the face, and when I opend my eyes, he almost did, but I was able to block it and win...
Another time, like 5 weeks ago, I was in a fight with 4 kids, they where trying to get some money off of me...
It was like I wasnt even in control of my body, like something was doing the fighting foe me and I was its puppet....
I beat them all in about 3 minutes
