Nope. Its a demon lord with 9 tails. a deciver type. fire elemental. with animal ferocity.

Its sealed in naruto's stomach.(the Sacrum, स्वाधिष्ठान whatever chackra. the one located in the lower belly)

naru's and the fox's consioucsness(i'm too lazy to back space today)and energies are separated by a seal.(though the seal was also desiged to leak some of the demon's energy into naruto's system.)

He is not in anyway possesed. unless he opens up the seal.

ex. 0 tails- just energy.= regen & stamina. eyes turn into feral slitted bloodred pupils. cainines elongate & whisker bith marks widen and darken
       1 tail-  big energy boost. blood lust. regen+ , strength, speed. red aura
       2 tails_ ame as above except x2 and  sense of self starts to fade. Voice takes on demonic under tones
       3 tai;s- assumes a feral postion whhile fighting. (x5) water evaporats at touch. body gets damaged by intensity of energy. the energy assumes a fox shaped aura around him. Invisible to normal un-trained & eyes due to speed
        4. ails-  starts to bleed. blood vesels start breaking.
   5-tails. The energy he is produsing is redlining his body so much that his blood  coats the fox out line enshrouding his body in blood. no concousness. this is between kyubi & naruto. all that is left is blood lust rage, & instincts.
Can make "blood images" whhich he jumps out of thier mouths.
