"WATCH OUT NAZ!"
With eyes wide with shock, Sis takes out the bow and arrows, aims and strikes the winged shadow in the heart . The monstrous bird shrieks in pain and dives bomb down towards them...Everyone ducks or hide in shelter. The demon bird gives an earth-shaking caw and flies upward, and comes again only to rain blood over the landscape and then lands dead nearby, disturbing the earth with another quick shake. Sis calmly sweeps the dust off her clothes and dips her finger in a bit of the demon-bird's blood on her cheek and licks it. It tastes like chicken.
        "Hey, it's nearly nightfall," Sis said and she signs dolefully. She waits patient for the others to continue. Some stare even, and she exclaims, "What?"

"Well, we could always call you Tinkerbell or something, but I figure you'd kill us for that," Nazukeru says playfully. "If we climb up this moutain a bit, we should be able to find a cave or something. It'll be easier to sleep...for those of us who do sleep." She turns around and eyes the mountain. "Anyone bring climbing equipment? I think I forgot to get any back at the general store."

*grins, or at least grins as much as a cat is able to, at least.* Well, as long as I'm stuck like this, I guess I don't hafta worry about climbing gear. Dunno what you're gonna do, though.

Hey, Naz; stay put. I'll go earn my daily blood and gore." *Teleports away and is gone for a moment, while he's gone, a shrieking whistle is heard briefly. Then he returns, somewhat out of breath.* "Damnit! I hate freefall! It never lasts long enough. No caves this side, so we'll just have to touch it out somewhere on the mountain."

Half an hour later the sun sets and we arrive at the spot to rest somewhere at the mountain, and in the center we build a huge campfire. As everyone chats or arrange their place to sleep, Sis magically takes out a harp, transforms it into a guitar - Glad to get rid of that bloody harp! It was getting on my nerves - sits on a log and plays "Stairway to Heaven"

Unnamed sits across Sis and Stares at her with a cool glint to his eyes that says, "i'm watching you....."

Sis stays awake as night guard, unable to rest at all.  She tunes her guitar and gives the most pure innocent stare at Unnamed and refuses to turn her eyes away before he does. The cackling fireplace burns mockingly between them, and Sis pauses the lullaby. "Are you not drowsy, oh Unnamed One?" she asks him in a smooth tone of voice, staring unblinkingly back at him.

Unnamed POV:Sis's  voice sends shivers up my spine. her cold eyes bore like a pair of smoldering embers to the back of my soul. i can't take the chance to even blink, lest she take my heart even faster.

Still.. there is something about the way she looks, that i just can't place my finger upon....... something.... dark. Well... dark-ER...

*Chase of course, doesn't sleep. In fact he's really enjoying watching all sorts of unnamed flying objects darting around just outside the firelight's range. After a while, he spots an unsuspecting lemming and darts off into the night*

Sis continues fiddling her guitar, "Heart-Shaped Box" one of the only songs she'd know how.
POV - Nightshade gets to be the naughty demonic god-thingy and I'm the one who is untrusted... that isn't fair. But oh well, she thought indifferently, good news Nightshade, no one fears you that much anymore. *a little pause* Oh, the Unnamed suspects me, I'm sooo worried she thought ironically.

Sis to Unnamed: "Could you please stop starring at me?" she said smirking now, "People will think I broke up with you in my past or something." She laughed amusedly and settled down her instrument to stop and appreciate the nocturne scenery, standing with her arms crossed gazing out into night - motionless, with Unnamed to her right still staring.
