Does anyone know of a good herbalist? Or a website that outlines what herbs are what and how they can be used. Especially poisons.

"All your base are belong to us."

So...old...And so few people can quote the whole thing and/or have actually played the game.  Not that it was a very interesting game...

I say that quote at school every bleeding day at leat 14 times...

Do you say just that, or the whole quote, M?

And Kadesh, why do you want the herbal stuff, and especially the poison?  You know that we don't endorse teaching things here to harm others.  However, finding purely herbal remedies and magic are easy enough with a quick jaunt to the library or around the net.

I thought you were joking, I wouldn't condone poisons. Though I do know a little about herbalism though.

I want to know what kinds of herbs are found naturally anywhere and everywhere. And if I'm going to learn about the good ones... I want to know about the bad ones. It's a little bit of my darker side peeking through. No, I'm not going to posion someone (more's the pity)  wink but I still want to know what they do. I know a few herbs that can be used both ways.

Many poisonous ones you can actually find in any decent camping guide.  Afterall, they wouldn't want you eating some foxglove, now would they?  I find this sort of thing to be easier to learn about from non "herbal magicky" kind of sources.

One of the coolest plants I had the fortune of learning about in person was Devil's Club.  It's a member of the ginseng family and was used in Alaska for all sorts of medicinal properties.  Unfortunately, it's also really spiny, so you generally should steer clear of them!  If you're still interested (as in where this grows, and some of the things it has been used for) check it out here: http://www.herbalgram.org/youngliving/herbalgram/articleview.asp?a=2697

At least you know what they're talking about phyrr.  cheesy When I was in middle school, I used to play Doom all the time... I just got it again on this PC. Is it wrong that I'm so excited about a cheezy and old game?  jester

Violent video games aren't bad in moderation.  I just don't like most of them because there isn't an interesting plot/it's very repetitive (like Halo).

I remember Doom...old games rock. Except the original Prince of Persia, but that's 'cause I just was really bad at it.  That's why I watched my bro play it when I was young (like 3) instead of playing it myself.  I just couldn't get the jumps right and always ended up spiking myself.  cheesy
