As the resident skeptic and one of the people perpetually harassing the newbs, I'd just like to say one thing. Nearly all criticisms leveled are generally at those who claim a certain state of reality, such as "I am a vampire" and then proceed to use that as their evidence for all arguments.

i.e. "Vampires aren't allergic to garlic or silver but still can't go out in the day and they receive their energy by eating the hair of their victims. I know cause I'm a vampire"

A further reason for this criticism comes against those whose own statements are self-contradictory, illogical or just irritating. One might claim to be a Christian black magician, which would be very contradictory. If i don't push that person for an explanation, their crazy ramblings would go on unchecked in the forums, degrading the level of discussion. The act of confrontation increases the quality of debate and shows these new people we're here to talk, not Role Play.

omnipotentoculus, I totally agree. I've agreed with this thread, but what you said is something I agree with more. These people who come in and say they're one thing or another have to have the facts to back them up. Don't dish if you can't deal.

Zak Roy Yoballa and omnipotentoculus, I agree and questions are completely fair.  However, I'm just urging that questions and doubts are kept as civil as possible.

I agree and repeat that members who pretend to be monsters but cannot support their state with strong evidences should be banned immediatedly as real monsters  bat  prefer to remain in the dark and would never claim such thinks.
