Here is a topic thread like the one in the Den to cover similar contest, only with Vampires instead of Werewolves. Same rules apply as usual. Also, as in the other thread, we're speaking strictly of the CLASSIC VAMPIRE - unless the post specifically states otherwise.



Now, as to Vampire v. Batman?
Vampire. Unless Good ol' Bruce believes in, and hence can combat, a vampire.

Come to think of it... perhaps we should include the fact that we're speaking of a classic vamp of average age/power. Once again, this holds unless the post specifically declares otherwise.

Come to think of it, I think Batman DID fight a vampire once... it was an older issue from the 60's or 70's if I remember right (back when Hammer studios was re-making all those classics... poorly).  Only I don't know if the vampire was a 'fo real-real vamp, or if it was just one of those crazy caped types.  I remember seeing some pale villain dressed in purple-and-black tights, with a pointy red cape and a penchant for blood, that's for sure.  Maybe I'll see if I can dig up proof. (I'm pretty sure it was one of the Elseworld comics, so maybe that doesn't even count).

Regardless, Batman won (of course), but I think he cheated and got the drop on the vampire during the day, which really isn't fair, since Batman is SUPPOSED to be a night-time only super-hero.  Geeze... no standards these days.

UPDATE: Got it.  It's an out of print graphic novel.  DC's website has it here: http://www.dccomics.com/graphic_novels/?gn=1212  I don't think it's the one I remember (with the purple and black and red leotard), but it's still Batman vs. a Vampire.  I'll keep looking for the original.

This may not be "canon"  but in "the Batman" (new animated series.) i think he did fight a vamp.... at night.


Oh yeah... Batman is human. vamps are Immortal, are superstrong have centuries of experience and have majikcal powerzzz......
