It's all a matter of if the entity in question is truly evil. Just because someone is a vampire does not mean they're evil, and just because someone is christian does not mean they're good. And I know people will fight me on this because most people view vampires as inherently evil creatures because they drink human blood. If a vampire is truly evil, then a truly faithful christian will have the upper hand. But if the vampire is not evil and the christian isn't really faithful, the vampire will win. It's all a matter of specifics.

I'd love to stop, but there isn't a brighter shade I could move to. That and orange is the colour I've always used here in internet land.  embarassed

But this is the main thing that most humans don't get... In their short sightedness they're being more evil than the beings they're persecuting. It's always been that way, though.

The desire to persecute anything that might perceived to be a threat, no matter how irrational that danger might seem from a truly objective perspective, is probably inherant in every sentient being. I imagine that if truly self-aware aliens existed, they wouldn't be much different from us in that regard. It's only natural to abbhor what we see as a violation of the standards of  that which is viewed as ''normal''.
