Hi, I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Jennifer.

I'm researching the hellhound but one piece of information I cannot find:

Is it possible to kill the Black Dog and how would one go about doing it?

I would be eternally grateful for the answer.  bat

I don't think you can kill one... I haven't herd many stories of people killing them because they always get killed. But if I hear anything about it I will let you know. some people say it is more of a demon type creature so there may be a way to vanquish it but I really don't know. sorry  sad

I am not aware on slaying them, but i've had to deal with them before.  With a significatna mount of meditation, or a medium it is possible to repel or "touch" them and harming them is possible, but it is not easy, or worth the time.  I believe that the hell hound should be avoided, Of the demonic conflicts ive had one was a hell hound, naturally it was extremely displesant, and i never travel alone when i go look at haunted or posessed places ((know this is not hunting, the only hostile actions i take against spirits are self defensive))  in truth an item of blessed or unhallowed background can help in this.  Personally killing them may be wrong.

you could always run it over with a semitruck  grin i am not sure how well that works though... (in a movie on sci-fi channel) I am not sure how to kill one though... I looked forever and I cannot find one relatively good source where the black dog is killed (cept stupid movies that are never correct).

ok i know im new here but please believe me its not possible to kill a hell hound...however it is possible to ward them off (im not sure exactly for how long)
i know this is possible because a good friend of mine her father was into a lot of magick when she was younger, her father had a vision of hell..with demons ripping his daughter apart and saying "you cant save her now, not even with your magick" after he awoke from this dream he had claw marks running down his back (still bleeding when he woke  up). so there is a way to ward hell hounds off temporarily. all i know is that before his dream was over he saw dragons carrying off his daughter to safety, and now he has many dragon tattoos and dragon statues all around his house. so this dragon he saw may be some time of guardian that saved him form the hell hounds. sorry i cant give much more info on this subject as this is all i know about the subject. sad

Well first the dragon could be his spiritual Guide...
And yes you can kill hell hounds, I have done it and so have a few others in my crew... mind you it is NOT easy at all but it can be done... I promise

Thank you... Well first I hit with my car (by accident lol, blew out my driver side suspension and messed up other parts of my car). After that One of my crew and I chased it down and used a combination of seals and our weapons... I have some blessed weapons.

The second we hunted down and used a combination of weapons, chi and chakra.
Sorry for lack of details just hard to explain min for min...

No that’s fine.
I have made a lot of enemies in my lifetime both in this realm and the others. It bugs me when they send their lackeys to do their work. Luckily though I have not had to deal with to many of those filthy dogs.

i like dragons especially the dungeons and dragons, indeed the dragons are much powerfull than the hellhound lol. coz in chinesse that is there god

Fool! they are not Gods in China, China is actually mainly atheist, Buddhist and Christian, The dragons never were gods they were actually just like extremely powerful beings, anyway, the Chinese Lung Dragon (oriental dragon)  is very different from the western ones...

anyway we are getting off topic
If you want to find a black dog to kill it, Don't, you should only try killing it if its after you, which probably means you were stupid enough to make a pact, and even then I'm not sure if you really can kill them
