Things Are Not As They Seem

« Reply #30 on: May 06, 2008, 05:58:37 AM »

Thanks Rave.

I have always had wierd things happen around me, I think I am a bit of a magnet for all that sort of stuff. Usually simple things like lights turning themselves on and off, things dissappearing and then appearing again in the same place a few days later, shoes and clothes moving around the room, doors locking or unlocking. Usually it is this harmless sort of stuff. The strongest experience was probably the giant fly like entity that I wrote about earlier in this thread that happened about 10 years ago.
I would be really interested Rave if you could tell me, supposing that my confidence caught Dexter off guard and he told me his real name, how would I use his name to expel, or be rid of Dexter. I am just interested in how to expel a demon by using their name. It is something I do not know how to do. I am not going to assume that Dexter really is the demons name, but feel to know the name expulsion method would be valuable knowledge.

Thanks again

well if it was the demons name (which it might not be) it would make life a lot easier. I know that Doris M. Wagner has written a lot of books about vanquishing demons. Now she is more religious than some folks but she the best of the best. I like her because she does it a bit different than the traditional long catholic way because they always need evidence and may take up to 3 to 7 months before they will believe its real. Her way is very efficent and many people go to her before they go to the church. Now I am not saying spend a ton of money and get her advice on it but she has a great deal of books about this stuff. I know that one of the first things to do to get a demon gone is to find out its name (expecially if it is tied to a person). Thats why I think its interesting that it gave you its name for some reason. But who knows it may be lieing thats what demons do is lie a lot. Now some things I don't agree with her on like about how wicca is the religion of the devil even though she really doesn't put it that way but still. One of her books is called "How to cast out demons". It is a very formal book about where demons come from and what type of demons it could be. Like a whole chapter on hereditary spirits. It is possible that when you asked the demon its name that it really could have given you its name because you might have that talent or energy around you that made it scared and told you. If it did you can use the classical exorcism by casting it out by saying something along the lines of, "Dexter I expel you from this place in the name of the Lord etc..." There are a great deal of books that can help this out but I would start out with her because she has the most experience in this field.

Good luck!

Thanks for your great post and lead Rave.

I have not read any of Wagners books but know a place where I should be able find a good selection.
The paranormal is a pretty wide ranging subject and I always admire people that are not too self concious/afraid to mention the Lord/God subject. So thanks heaps. I am an open learner and love to learn about things from any and all perspectives, not to leave any stones unturned so to speak. I appreciate the new line of investigation that you have put me onto.It is interesting that the line you gave me "Dexter I expel you from this place in the name of the Lord" is really close to the line that Jesus taught us in the Bible, "Satan begone for the hand of the Lord is upon you!". I will get into the reading that you have put me onto, give things a go and try and keep my options open. Any other suggestions from other members are more than welcome of course, as usual.

Thankyou everyone again.

Would you keep this post updated re Dexter phenomena.

I for one find it a great live subject.

Theres nothing like actual experience as a teacher, even if it is (for us) second hand.

Thanks for your interest Oldbill.

Dexter still seems to be hanging around a bit. I am actually getting some abdominal pain similar to what I experienced with the giant fly entity thing that I mentioned earlier in the thread, but not nearly as severe and only every now and then at night. The most noticable thing that seems to be consistent with Dexter is the electrical razor blade cutting feeling, a couple of times I have woken up at night with my bodys nervous sytem shaking me on the bed, sort of like a mini siezure, but with me being fully concious with it coming out of a lucid dream state, and of course not severe at all, ie no biting of my tounge , no thrashing of my arms and legs. just 3-5 seconds of a shivering shaking feeling with the definate feeling that it is somehow electrical in nature. Also even though my computer is all fixed now I do get some crazy electrical freezing of colours, and always and only when I am on this site. Sometimes I have to log off and on again a few times before it all starts working properly. It is even playing up a bit on me now so I should finish, and log off and on again now or I could lose this post. Please try not to worry, I do have a plan of action and am confident this Dexter thing will be resolved soon. The main thing is to keep everything in perspective and not give in to any fear at all, which Dexter seems to love to feed on.

Thanks again everyone.

Necronomicon

Sumerian gods, Latin name, any questions?

Demons, devils or any of their sort are only as strong as you let them be, i agree that ignoring them does work, for the simple fact if they can't feed on energy that; fear, belief, indulgence, support, invitation or any other sort of human emotion can generate, than they won't stick around...they'll go find the next easy energy that tickles their fancy.  I do agree they are most active when a person is shifting, especially if it's a growing time, muddled with life changing chaos that usually results in confusing shifts of energy, they slip in, offer a false sense of strength or manipulate the strongest emotions for the energy thought yields, once they have you hooked, it's difficult to be rid of them without some higher form to intercede.

I agree with the advice to not dwell on it,  thinking about it it keeps it near, allowing it to see into your dreams and become more what you expect it to be, if it's a cruel master, than it will rule you with cruelty.  It's testing you....figure out where your faith lays the strongest, refocus on that source and soon it'll be some where else looking for a different host, you can't destroy them...but we were all given free will to rebuke them with, no expert, rite or ritual needed, just strong faith; that's up to you where it comes from.

Thanks for your post jordyn.

Hi everyone, I am still alive, thats good, and have not given into any fear which is good as well. The only problem at the moment is that a couple of days ago I turned my computer on to log on here and it just exploded in a bang and bright flash of light, it was a new computer so there is no good mundane explanation. I am still not scared or anything, but it does seem to continue this electrical theme. Anyway I am in a library at the moment with some kid waiting to log on to play games or something. I will have a new computer again in a couple of days and get everyone informed again.

Thanks for all your help.

Vivid can i ask u a question have u ever seen either of those two demons ever after the first encounter?

im 98% positive that either of these demons to put it bluntly dont give a s**t  about u.
In all likely hood u are meaningless to them i know most people like to think they are special somehow and that you were specifically targeted but its extremely doubtful. the thing with bugs before and the computer are what i call the aftermath of a fight with a demon where part of their essence still lingers near you. the fact that you havent seen either of them again proves my point completely.

Thanks Azi

I think you're probably pretty right with what you are saying. I didn't think I was trying to say I was special though. Am I special? Are you special? Is anyone special? Anyway you are right in saying this Dexter demon doesn't give a s**t about me, or he wouldn't be kicking me and my electrical equipment around like a piece of s**t. I am not really too worried about this though and think it will eventually go away. Never had a computer blow up in my face before though. You are right, I have not seen Dexter again but feel that demons probably would not be dumb enough to appear twice in exactly the same form anyway. I am keeping the thread going while this wierd stuff is going on though partly because Oldbill sent me a note asking me to keep the thread up to speed, and also, even though I am probably not important in all of this, because I am trying to learn as much about this Dexter demon as I can now just in case I do run into him again one day and also again because I have an interest in all this stuff  and want to learn as much as I can and not be ignorant about the subject, so please don't hang me for that.
Anyway nothing major to report since the computer blew up and things seem to be settling down, albeit a bit too slowly for my liking. Also, the paranormal investigator freaked out and will not go back into the house to finish her report. This makes me question her kudos a bit, although it was affecting her family I suppose. Anyway she has left me with a bit of stuff that may be helpful.

Thanks again everyone.

Just claim it as "act of something NOT God, but not of improper use" lol or you could just tell them exactly what happened  cheesy

I haven't worked out what to say for the insurance claim. I suppose I could try the act of NOT god thing and see how I go? I could always invite the insurance investigator to stay the night. I could demonstrate the new switchboard with all the earth leakage trips and all that stuff that would not let me set fire to a drop of rocket fuel, and then, as I am in Australia and we're getting into a cold winter, advise them to bring an electric blanket fot the night, hehe.
