I've just finished reading "The Regulators" by Richard Bachman and thought it really was a Stephan King without conscience.
Currently reading "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown, VERY similar plot-style to The Da Vinci Code so far.
Afterwords I'm planning to read Stephan King's "The Colorado Kid" or any other of his I haven't read yet.

And you?

Hey Nina,
if you like Coelho try Ben Okri 'Astonishing the Gods'. Probably the most beautiful book I've ever read.

"From a Buick 8" by Stephan King and finishing "Violin" by Anne Rice, I should stop reading two books at once, it's addictive. jester

Im actually reading 2 books currently. The first is called "Strong Fathers,Strong Daughters" I have a 4yr old & it was a Fathers Day gift from my mom.The 2nd is called "The Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan.I consider it the best book i've read to support my personal atheistic view towards religion & the topics discussed here but it also includes just enough empathy or even a  bit of longing for the supernatural if you will.

Augh, what a pain.

I have to read three books for school this summer. And I have to report on each. Once I find out what books those are I'll post the names. They are completely irrelevant to any interesting topics I'm sure. But I think one of the books is called, "The Life of Pi." I know not the story line though. x_X

It is better to conquer yourself than to win many battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

The situation is a demonic paradox: we have toppled the system but we still carry its genes.
