Sorry you have to meet shallow men, I know the feeling, I meet shallow women all the time, some thing you have most likely figured out, most people are shallow. The only thing you can do to a shallow person is not be shallow to them, and how do you do that? Keep a open mind, some times shallow people can teach you a thing or two. Hmmm. Sounds like you didn't naturally have the instincts some of have, sounds like they were awakened deep from within as a defense mech. All living things have instincts, some though just get burried deep or locked away, like for most humans. It is possible to find humans who have better instincts than even weres, but theses are extremely rare individuals. It seem like part of you said enough is enough and started to whisper to you again. Interesting, I am not sure if I have ever met a person who's instincts first thing said, don't be desprate. J/K
