No actually salt has always been thought to work due to its purity, you see salt has many grades of purity in it and it is supposed to ward of demons less pure then the salt is

Salt is usallly used to make a barrier from weak spirits. i mean it might work on legion. but other demons i doubt

*Rolls eyes.* Yes, Iron and salt. Salt was made to use as a barriar. So when it repelled some things, Humans of course thought it repelled every thing. Iron, yeah when they saw some things run away from it, and forged it into a sword, they of course it was better. Good luck with those items, you will get a little use out of them if you use them correctly. You want the best defense. Focus your rages towards these things, focus it which will make sure they don't come hear you, that is if you really can keep it constant, which evetually you will have to let it drop.

Thanks a lot friend. There is something you maybe able to help me out with. You see I am trying to obtain a real book on Exorcism. Basic book that tell one the right words or incantation to exorcising a demon or a jinn. I agree what you are saying about what is needed such as salt etc..... I am glad you mentioned though that a crucifix doesn't. I always knew that it wouldn't work. What would I need to know about the hunt. Where to begin, how to find them, what to do. I suppose there is some kind of manual for these things. Are thee any manuals in Latin? One more thing, you know how the Catholic has their Roman Catholic Rite of Exorcism? Well I suppose that there is such a but for other religions such as the Judaic, Islamic, or even Hindu religion. In other can I find an Islamic book of exorcism, to get rid of Jinns and other Hell bound demons? Whatever you can provide will help and I appreciate it. Eh, as I have seen it, cersifixes don't exactly really work at all. As I have seen it, they have been more like a foci. A focus in which any item can be used as, but the cursifix is of coursed used because the belief in it, so that is the reason why it is used as a foci, its more able to focus the spiritual energy in the person. Of course since this is powered by belief, it has its limits, like it can't be used against old ones and such, but really people don't need those simple material things to turn away demons, they just need themselves.

Spiritual energy, which can also power faith for the religous. What will you do when you die and no longer have these material things. Look into awakening your instincts if you want to hunt any thing, from fish, to haha, dragons.
