This is an addendum to my post "Strange Marks" I didn't add it to the post because I think it's something different from that. A few days ago I was home alone all of a sudden my pig, yes I have a pet pig, woke up, ran over to a spot in the dinning room & with her every hair on her body stnding up she started honking as if something was there. Then today my beau found the leg of a silver tea pot on the other side of the house although the tea pot had never fallen. When I went to check the tea pot I found that the lid was dented as if the pot had fallen.

same thing. whatever entity that is, it's probably trying to tell you something though this time, it manifested in a different way. your pig honked coz it sensed the entity. animals have a higher level of sense.

is the teapot an antique?

The teapot is older, from 1981, but not quite anitique. Thank you for mentioning that. For some reason even though one of my first questions for someone coming to me with this problem would have been "have you brought anything new into the house" I totally blanked on that idea. It does seem to center around the pot though. Now the pig has taken to simply standing near it & honking. Although she only seems to do this around me.

it's got your attention, now it's going to draw you in, do you want to encourage it or discourage it?

it's your house and your world, only you give it power here.

did you buy the teapot or did someone from your family gave it to you? maybe we need to know the history of that teapot. and jordyn's right. it got you and now, you can choose. either let it get to you or get it away from you...

My mom bought the teapot at a thrift store. We have decided to ignore it. It's going to be hard since the pig is so vocal about it & it's impossible to ignore a screaming pig.

God, I could never have a pet pig. It would be like a walking Christmas dinner, and if it ever annoyed me I'd chop it up and throw it in the oven with some cloves, pineapple, and some honey glaze.

Honestly, the pig is one of te best pets I've ever had & I've had pretty much everything that's legal. She's smarter than a dog, hence we baby proof the house, & is just so funny. She is litterbox as well as house trained & it only took 2 days at 10 weeks of age to get her trained. She can do a number of tricks, she is quite amazing. As for eating her, she is a mini Vietnemese potbelly, they are the worst breed for food since they are almost completely muscle it would be very tough.

I like tough meat.
I sure hope you don't live close to where I live, because if I saw a pig in someone's yard I'd grab a spear and hunt it caveman-style.

Not me, Im a rare veal kinda girl. My beau made a good point. The teapot was in our last house, not on display, & nothing happened plus things started well after the teapot came out. what we did recently bring in is the favorite bed of my dog that recently passed. it may very well be her spirit partly. taht would explain the pig's territorial behavior & the jingling i sometimes hear. It finally happened around my beau this morning. The pig was fast asleep on the couch, to the point that she wasn't responding to us. I mentioned how much she liked that one bed & that's when my beau said "maybe it's Annebelle" we were discussing it & as soon as I said "I think you may be right it may be her" the pig jumped up & ran across the house & laid down. No noise, no acknowledgement of us, no reason she just bolted. This doesn't account for the teapot or marks but it explains a little so Im happy. It does make sense that the dog would come, she was my dog, I got her as a puppy & wasn't able to be there when she was put to sleep. However 2 months beforehand I took her to the vet & tried to convince them they needed to do kidney tests, im a vet tech so it's not like Im some clueless shmuck, the doctor insisted it wasn't necessary. Two months later she is taken in in complete kidney failure. Needless to say, I was pretty angry.

well, if that's the case, maybe she's trying to tell you that you don't need to worry about her anymore
