How do you mean don't believe in demon hunters? As in you
1)don't believe people can destroy demons,
2)don't believe some one can actively fight demons,
3)don't believe some one can search for demons,
4)don't believe people are powerful enough.

Personal experience.
Met people who hunt lesser demons.
Summon a true demon.
Destroyed a true demon.
(Don't get confused, I do not hunt demons, nor am I demon summoner, I don't even claim to be a demon expert, just have the bit of experience I have... Although many thing I am some demonic slaying matriarch.)
Never met a human destroy a true demon.
Never met a human who ever hunted a true demon.
Saw a true demon fark up this group of would be hunters, in a totally mental way. Most likely would be able to take on many other hunters online as well.

I have never seen, or heard of any one being able to successfully hunt down and kill a TRUE demon. Hunt and kill are two different things, I have heard many killing, but never any hunting a TRUE demon. But I try to keep a open mind.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidenc

Do you believe in a person's ability to hunt demons?Interesting question but of course I put NO.Not for the question but for the fact I dont believe demons exist nor do I believe that anyone on here has seen much less hunted a demon.Folks, listen;I understand there are   still many fascinating mysteries to this universe but the possibility for the existence of demons isnt one of them.I guarantee no one on here not now or not ever will be able to provide one piece of evidence to the existence of demons. They arent real, period. The world as a whole would have had some convincing evidence after roughly 14 billion years & the anecdotal kind on here just doesnt pass any muster. The only "demons" in this world if any are the rapists, murderers, child abductors etc........ If people were actually hunting demons & putting their lives on the line would they actually be spending time typing away like we are on Monstrous?I doubt, lord knows theres no manual i've ever seen or heard of for hunting demons but  id think it would be a pretty full time job leaving little time for typing.I could be wrong though.

But if anyone has any demon proof, names etc.... send it to me.Im not the least bit afraid because im a non-believer in demons & angels but id love to see proof to the contrary if it exisits.I wish I could get everyone here to read the book "The Demon Haunted World" by Carl Sagan.Yes I know I quote him frequently but if everyone read his book & really put some thought into it,they would find these concepts like demons & so forth are just in our imaginations, nothing more.Demons would come from a supernatural source,so where is the proof of it? Now if they did exist,im sure they could be hunted but as to the technical aspects of what works & what doesnt is in my opinion anyones guess. Peace,Carter

People believe what they will... I am not here to tell one person they are wrong... In my experience they do exist, I do hunt them and I have killed TRUE demons... Yes it is time consuming but its not always like it is in books or TV. I am not always hunting and so on... I wish they did not exist cuz then my brother would still be alive. I understand that most need proof to believe in these things, but its the same concept that believe is not always seeing, Many believe in God because they have faith so they gives them the comfort to go on and live... To see or interact with these things you must give up certain portions of logic and reality. Some would say from that that you are just imagining it, but there are somethings that you know are real...

Yet I keep an open mind, half of me says yes and the other says no, I look more to the possibilities there is, both to whether there's proof demons exist and contradictions that deny the existance of demons. An earlier post when I mentioned of a "demon experience" I had mistaken it for something else, but that hasn't, in any way, changed the way I think about demons.

Of course i do. I have seen a demon, felt his physical maifestation, even drank some blood offered me from a demon., hence my ability to be both sanguine and psi, and also saw someone kill?/banish a demon. So the only answer for me is yes. And don't bother trying to say tehres no way that happened cause I'm not trying to prove anything here, got more pressing matters at hand.

The question wasn't do you believe in demons or if some one can kill a demon, it was do you believe some one can go out of their way to hunt a demon. Totally different question man.

So i quote a fairly famous song; "The Devil is in all of us."

haha. Smiley

I really don't want to talk more about my experiences with demons as i interact with them in a spiritual verbal way and i do not hunt or kill them.
Seems my demonic deity's i contact are still alive. haha.

So yeah, i believe. In a way. Since i am apart of a demon myself.
Aswell as you are probably denying it that i am, but its just the way it is.

i chose to keep an open mind, but several questions come to that mind...

first, define demon

secondly, is the hunter sure s/he knows what s/he's hunting?

i rather fancy the idea of a Hellsing sort of battle ground, but considering most of what's perceived for western demonology is derived from roman catholic thought and influence, technically there already are and they literally wrote the books on hunting and destroying the devil, in all his manifestations.

it'd be interesting to hear middle eastern thought on the subject, that's sort of like, pre-romanized demonology; even some Judaic thought would spice things up, the one thing i am sure about; we'll never know what demons truly are or even where they came from, so good luck to those who attempt it, but generally i don't believe humans are able to destroy them, any more than they can destroy our soul.

you don't destroy a lamp's light when you unplug it from the wall, it simply doesn't have the energy to light up; until you plug it in again.

But what if you throw it  down  and run over it with a car?

Given that most cultures sem to agree that demons lack true physical form of any kind, I'm confused as to how one could even contemplate the idea of ''killing'* a demon. When a sentient being is slain, it is but the fleshy shell that is extinguished, allowing the  ''soul'' to escape and move freely at will. Thus, speaking from a purely hypothetical perspective, even if one were to confront and successfully slay a demon that has chosen to manifest itself on the physical plane of reality, its true spiritual core would still be at liberty to wander the world and perhaps seek refuge in the body of an unsuspecting human.
