hmmmm well, I don't think the subject of demons can yet be formed into a yes or no just yet. I mean, there is no proof but yet again there is in some ways i guess. Most of the proof someone tries to summon is the parts we've watched in movies. Example: The Ninth Gate. it is about The Devil but it combines with demons.

I answer yes.
Even if a person is not 100% sold on whether or not demons exist, you can still logically understand that it's human nature to hunter and/or kill things we do not understand.
So even in a hypathetical situation of demons existing it is more than probable that a person can/will hunt it/them.
As for whether the out come of the hunt being favorable to the hunter. This would be based on whether or not the person/s hunting are trained or have any prior knowledge to what they are hunting.
A person/s who is trained and well equipped has a higher succes rate than that of an unprepaired, untrained person who has a low to slim chance of a succesful hunt, let alone escaping with their life.
As for whether or not I believe demons are real, I am still undesided. I believe that there is more to the world than that of which we are told and know but I am still undecided as to what extent.
So I guess I could also fall into the Keep an Open Mind catagory also.

(sorry I kinda ranted on there)

Look I will never tell any one what to believe or not to believe. Whether you believe in demons or angels or just good and bad. You have to accept there is not one without the other. Me personally I believe.  I have my faith which leads me to believe there is a god and his end of the spectrum. With that being said there is no getting around the fact that for god if you will to be at one some being and his end of said spectrum have to be at the other end. For every angel there is a demon and for every saint there is an opposite. Now as far as a person being able to hunt and or kill  either. Of course its possible . Now do I believe just any one is capable? No. It takes the right combination of common sense and the complete lack of awe if you will in a person. You couldn't have a person who struggles with seeing tragedy or everyday life without rethinking life face a demon. A strong willed person with an even stronger mind may have a fighting chance. Through out time stories have emerged about demon slayers. And like I said you cant have one without the other. Also the angels took women as wives. So why not demons?  Hence the mother Teresa and Ted Bundy's.

Aha! but whoever said anything about god's and demons? what if duality is not absolute? what if there is an all encompassing being? what then bistro boy?

Then that all-encompassing being probably spawns manifestations that would fall into both the categories of ''good'' and ''evil'' that mankind has constructed. And if that were indeed the case, to engage in an effort to eradicate the ''evil'' manifestations would by neccessary extension entail defying the authority and power of said supreme being.
