Nina, am I correct in assuming that the ''vampiric'' community dismisses dahmpirs as being nothing more than the creation of ancient folklore

Possible, cause dhampirs should be brought into their work by their own families. And due to all the brainwashing of TV, religion...etc.... a dhampir is possibly not recognizing his own nature, and duty given by ....G-d?Huh  Also, a dhampir has many similar traits as a vampire, so he could be mistaking his true nature, and think that he is a vampire and not a dhampir.... this theme deserves a whole new thread.....

Well, then maybe somebody should start one :]

And it is hard to tell between Dhamphirs and vampires these days. Hollywood has messed everything up.

Besides to kill a modern day vampire would be murder.

Are genuine vampires really the undead? Cuz I saw this show with a bunch of people who say they are, but they were "energy feeders" or somethin like that. <=/

No we are not the undead, I cannot stress that enough. We can die just like you. And I think I saw that show as well and I seriously doubt those people were anything more than really depressed, angry people that didn't fit in anywhere else. Not all vampires are brooding, dark people, although I sometimes am hehe  bat Plus they just acted really....unvampirelike if you can understand what i mean

I've done so many drugs and injured my brain enugh times doing stupid s**t that I think I qualify as a zombie. Combine that with rarely ever sleeping and I'm sure fun to be around IRL   jester

ok ya on her site that she used to have before she closed it down it says that vamps die like humans but they do get energy from blood (and so would a human)
the only diff it says here between a human and a vamp is 13 things but it does not say
Smiley ha good thing I copied what she and many other people typed before she deleted it

I'd trust the actual Vamps on the forum to know what they're talking about on this.  wink Also.. I don't think it's a lack of fear that keeps them "underground" so to speak. It's just their nature, am I right? And Hollywood has made it muuuch easier for Vamps... It's made it 'hip'. lol

I figure if they're gonna find me, not posting on here won't make a difference one way or another, so why not socialize and hang out with the only people I can connect with? They come, I send them back. Its a vicious cycle. Alhough its been quiet lately. Maybe Sandman did get the word out to leave me be. Thanks Sandman!
