you'd be amazed, people get sued when someone is injured on their property during the act of a crime against the home owner, if they do shoot and aren't particularly good with their aim they could end up sued for injuring the person, assault with a weapon etc.

this is applicable in Montana, if such a gun happy state has these legalities, i can just imagine what more gun restrictive states would have; so a gun in the hands of your average joe would be as much of a problem for them as a criminal, it's not easy aiming for a kill shot and not all states support the shoot first and make sure they fall on your property ideal.

if it's a supernatural vampire...there are vampire hunters i'm sure you could find and if they're a human then the law is your best option.

I think you guys pretty much wrapped this one up with some solid advice but this  is one of the reasons why I ask the questions I do.Yes I am a  skeptic that is well known around here & this poster is a perfect example why.

When people write up a post that is incredible in it's content I personally want to get to the bottom if possible to weed out the real ones from the imposters.(Did I just say "real" ones?You guys are really getting to me I guess!lol) In all honesty I believe that there are people here who have experienced something that is genuine(supernatural?) to them in their own definition of it;that doesnt necessarily mean that anything supernatural is or has happened either though.There are also those who I believe either make up stories to simply get a reaction for the fun of it or they feel disconnected in their lives in some way & posting incredible stories that they hold to or wish were true about themselves help massage the pathology of their own individual situations.

I do think that when anyone asks for advice, there is a great power involved in giving it & with great power comes great responsibility.That is why I think that leaving any talk involving weapons may be best left out  of the equation.Im all for one defending themselves but we just dont know alot of the time who or what the makeup is of any poster on here & that includes myself(im actually quite boring but then it's all realative i guess isnt it?) but any advice should be tempered with restraint from violence if at all possible.If this particular poster is being attacked I would first ask if he has contacted the authorities?Does he lock his dwelling up?Is there a pattern to the frequency?If so has he stayed up to confront it?If not has he set up any recording devices to see whats actually happening?

I am trying to add more empathy to my postings & ask for understanding & foregivness when I fall short but in truth I too love the subject matter just like the rest of you.I just have my own criteria when processing it.Stay well,Carter
