People hear that I am a horror writer and they think that I must be a monster, but actually I have the heart of a small child - I keep it in a jar on my desk. - Robert Bloch

I emerged from the darkest oblivion, the depths of my mind, to dwell among others who seem far different than I.

My mind is a dungeon of dreams left to rot, imprisoned by ones who long for them to be forgot.

My heart is a valley of blood, a turmoil of perished love and lost compassion, where even the foulest fear to tread.

My soul is an infuriated tempest in which innocents are consumed, all peace is shattered when it fumes.

I am a mystery that can not be solved, try to unravel me and your spirit shall dissolve.

Hi, my name is Lilly. I am new here, obviously, but I wouldn't really call myself NEW because I have been stalking the site for quite a while trying to decide when I would join. I know, it is pathetic, but now I'm a member! Yay! Let's celebrate!

Alright, enough foolishness. I am a writer, hmhm, above, hmhm. And my main topic is....... mounstrous beings, especially werewolves. I LOVE werewolves.

I thought that it would be neat to meet other werewolf and paranormal folk like myself and then................. bada bing! Here I am! I think that this site will help me with my writing as far as plots go. I have trouble forming a good werewolf plot or dragon, unicorn, griffin, etc... plot. I can't remember EVERY fact about weres and my plots usually get jumbled.

I don't just write, I also race dirt cars. It is my second passion to writing. I ride horses, tennesse walkers, and raise them as well. We also raise pygmy goats and geese. I love animals but wolves and horses are my favorites.

Well,it is nice to be a member here..... finally. I can't wait to meet some of you. Oh, and I will be sure to visit the Werewolf den quite frequently.  grin

Welcome Lily, glad to see you've joined us!

And beautiful words you have there, my dear, do you write any poetry? That's the impression I had, due to the beginning of your post.^^

Cheers,

~S. A.

Thank you greatly.  cheesy

To be honest...... I am not a big poetry writer. I write it some but I mainly write fantasy shorts. This was actually my third poem to write.

Welcome Lilly.

I'm not much of a monster but like to have a bit of fun on the boards here, I hope you do as well.
With the writing, try not to worry about it that much. Just start it and do not try and keep it to a rigid format like they tell you in school, about having an overall plan and all that. Just start and let your stories take you where they want you to go, if you get my drift. They will turn out a lot more interesting and individual, with your creativity let loose.

Hope you like it here.

Cool, you write fantasy shorts, I write much poetry and a short story here and there yet they're all mainly works of angst and melancholy. I write not only non-fiction stuff but boring as well, yet some may disagree and say I have talent, I quite enjoyed expressing myself through writings until awhile ago, I think my mind decided to take a break, because I ran out of ideas, lol. So if I'm doing something artistic it's drawing. Besides that I'm here at the forum. grin

Thanks for the greeting, Vivid.

That is great advice. Maybe that is my problem. I try to plan my stuff out for they constantly nagged at us at school about organized plots. All that spiderweb crap and plot table crap drove me crazy. This poem I actually didn't plan. I wrote it striaght from mind onto paper... and them I typed it of course. It worked quite well. I will do that more often. Thanks!

I think I will like it here. I am use to forum life. I am a member of another forum called Teenage Writers. Life there is hard but I brave through it every night. This place seems less agressive and critcal like. It is nice to be able to say slang stuff and not get cussed out about it. TW members will eat you alive if you make a simple mistake. Well, not all of them. There are still some sane ones left, I suppose.

I was nice to meet you.

Hi fellow writer, SA13!

I know what you mean about taking a  break. I feel the same. I have a huge writer's block right now. I will try to read some of your writings.

Hey, have you heard of teenage writers? I am a member there. It is forum sorta like this but the set up is a little smaller and it is strictly devoted to writing. The critics there are smart and helpful with your writng but some are quite harsh.

It was a pleasure to meet you.

Yes I had heard of it and even considered joining but it merely slipped out of my mind afterwords. Or it was Teen Writers or it was something like Young American Writers, something a bit similar to that.
Yet writing in a harsh environment isn't all that great, to me it's a lot of pressure because writing is like breathing, and no moron can tell you the correct way to breath now can they? lol

I like that. The breathing thing. I shall remember that and use it to my advantage when someone is insulting me, thanks grin.

Hi again Lilly

Sick-Angel is right, just let yourself,  breathe!!!

I guess a problem with over-critical forums like you were talking about, is that you end up writing in a style like everyone else there just so they do not jump all over your stuff, very stifling that.

I loved your poem too, good stuff, let yourself be free!

No it's not that, human being have to go through a natural process called sleep which happens normally around nighttime.

I slept through the day so I'll stay up until dawn this time, isn't that great? Ahhh Nothing better than reading through the peaceful and quiet night. grin
