its the next evolution in religion. think about it. when the first christians were established everyone thought they were just nut balls. but after time they become the greatest religion in todays world. maby scientology is the next thing

I invite each of you who doesn't know anything about scientology to do some serious research into the organization. (I will not give it any credibility by calling it a 'religion'.) If, as Sandralmen says, this is what the next evolution in religion is going to be, then the world really is as doomed as we say.

i have read on scientology and yes i do find it ludicrus. but thats beside the point. scientology is just another thing people use as a way of being a better person.    and im not saying it is the next big relig but i am saying christianity started out kinda the same way. beliveing that a giant clam is going to come pick you up  in order to fight of the great ruler is dumb. but if it is what people want to belive let them. i mean if it helps people can it really be that bad

I'm talking more about what they do, rather than what they believe. This thing is a scam, even the founder's own family members testified in court against him to that effect. L. Ron Hubbard was a liar, a cheat, a womanizer, and a thief. His concocted belief system was nothing more than a way for him to sit back and make money the easy way.
