BTW Needs, the term "entirely different species" refers to there being no biological or behavioral similarities between two animals. Nile & salt crocs are related species which means they are in the same family & share common anscestors. They are different species only in that they have minor differences mainly having to do with appearance & environment as well as minor biological differences.

Congratulations on proving that you have absolutely no knowledge of biology.

Read it.

Yeah, North America had a lot of cool animals, including native horses. But climate change, & the sudden introduction of humans wiped most of them out. That's why some introduced animals, like horses, have been doing so great.

Girl, horses arrived in America with first europeans. There werent any there before that....

Not true.
There were wild horses long, long ago, before Native Americans were actually a distinct race.
They were killed for food, and completely went extinct several thousand years before the europeans came, hunted to extinction by the ancestors of the native americans.

Most people don't. Most people also don't know that we had everything from lions and cheetahs to camels and giant beavers. Most were killed off by the ancestors of the natives.

You know, most people think Pangea was the only supercontinent. There have been several others, like Gondwanaland for example, which included Africa, South America, India, and Australia. Or Laurasia, which was all of Europe, North America, and most of Asia.

The horse evolved in Laurasia, and was widespread in all those places until it was driven to or near to extinction, or bred by humans to the point it no longer resembles it's wild ancestor.

Genetic descendants of the actually undomesticated horse is still in Asia somewhere. It really looks like a little pony, almost a miniature horse. Modern day horses are the Great Dane to wolf equivalent to those horses.

Smart little buggers, compared to the big and dumb domesticated horse.

Of course, we had to breed out the intelligence that made them fight back & try to escape. If not, then they'd never be stupid enough to let us ride them. jester

Some ass holes literally ride them to death. angry

Don't worry Jhim... Everyone dies, and so will those wormholes... Lets just pray that it's slow and agonizing... It would be fun to feed them to a Great White Shark though... Megaladon Jr...

I agree... I hate people that are mean to animals. I realy don't think there's much that can make me angry as fast as that can. Just gimmie a baseball bat and 10 minutes alone with them.  wink
