You mean are there weres/therians/whatever in the military?  Yes, as with everything.  I've even met a few.

How do they keep "it" a secret? Are they afraid of being kicked out if someone knows? Do they rise up to any positions of power? & how does being in the military affect them? Or vice versa?

Warning:

If you two wish to argue (Terror and Thneedly) then do so in PMs or take it elsewhere.

Now,  focus Werewolves, not Therians.

What did you do, Vince? I was under the impression that you had to be at least 18 to join up...  huh

no, i didn't exactly serve in the navy. see, we have this  thing called CAT or citizenship advancement training. it was formerly called citizen's army training. you had to take that up during your senior year in high school as an extra curricular and will teach you military discipline and our unit was under the navy. i served there as a chief medic officer

Nothing like that. You have to be 18 to join or do anything here.

Well, Kadesh, I know of people that have gotten parent signatures at 17 to join.  High school education is required, though, so they had to graduate before they could do much more than basic and camps.

Hmm.. I didn't know that! The should have it so they can do boot camp and such all through HS.. Might make kids like my lil brother into better adults.

Anywho.. I seem to have taken a side road.. sorry..  focus

Anyone else out there? In the military at all? Or have you heard of anyone? As Petling asked... how high do you generally rise?

Oh gosh, Kadesh, sorry to leave you hanging!  Oops.

They do have a kind of a boot camp thing called ROTC.  Charlie can explain it better than I can, but in some high schools they have ROTC programs.

So, any weres in the ROTC/JROTC program in High School? grin  I knew of a few at my old school, but I don't know what's going on there now...
