Time is up. The votes have been counted. In the two and one-half months from 1 February to 1 April 2008, we received 2,893 entries from 47 countries for the Monstrous Awards 07. The results are in. Unlike those big awards ceremonies, there’s no envelope to tear open. But the final votes have been cast and it’s time to acknowledge and honor not just our winners, but everyone who’s participated. The ceremony was held on Saturday, April 5 2007 at the Bom Bom club in Boraquay, Philippines and drew more than 500 people for a night many won’t soon forget. Thanks again to everyone who voted and commented. And of course, thanks again to our nominees.

And now, the results:

Winner: "Duma Key" by Stephen King
Runners-up: "Snuff" by Eric Enck & Adam Huber; "Devil Inside" by Jenna Black
