Woody Harrelson will take on the undead for Ruben Fleischer in Columbia Pictures upcoming horror comedy “Zombieland.”

The film is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick ("The Joe Schmo Show"), and follows a pair of survivors in a world overrun by zombies.

Harrelson will play one of the men. His character will be a zombie hunter who goes by the name of Albuquerque, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is being produced by Gavin Polone through his Parish Films.

Harrelson last comedy was "Semi-Pro," and the actor is currently at work on Roland Emmerich's "2012." He has wrapped work on “Seven Pounds with Will Smith.
